Welcome to Draw Plus Math!

Children learn through all of their senses. This book is designed to help your child or student enhance math learning through art activities with exercises and games that supplement math learning in a fun way.

Concepts you'll find inside include numbers and counting, adding and subtracting, relative amount, sets or groups, one to one correspondence, shapes, symmetry, patterns, sorting, relative position, sequence, fractions, graphs, and data analysis.

The lessons in Draw Plus Math are based on learning goals outlined by the Principles and Standards for School Mathematics, developed by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM).

Freddie Levin has been drawing and painting for as long as she can remember. She divides her time between illustration and teaching art to young children. She lives in the Chicago area.
