Cynthia Bond Hopson is the author of Bad Hair Days, Rainy Days, and Mondays and Too Many Irans in the Fire (and They're All Smoking), She has been nominated for teaching excellence and has twice been named to the Who's Who Among American Teachers. Formerly associate professor of journalism at the University of Memphis, she is assistant general secretary of the Black College Fund and Ethnic Concerns for the United Methodist Board of Higher Education and Ministry in Nashville, Tennessee.
Roger A. Hopson is a popular teacher, preacher, consultant, conference speaker, and retreat leader. He is an ordained United Methodist pastor and serves as executive assistant to the Nashville area bishop of The United Methodist Church. He and Cynthia have two children and four grandchildren.
