When life is demanding we all need something to turn to, and this is where people often go wrong. Some people become involved in substance abuse, to try and change the way they feel. Others achieve great success but there is still emptiness inside. Traditionally this would have been fulfilled by religion, but this is not a choice for many people in the 21st century. In order to create change it has to come from within. The best way forward is to develop principles on which you base your daily life. These are guiding principles. This book aims to help you to live courageously, enjoy the present while remembering the past and come to terms with mortality. It should also help you to appreciate that life is more than it seems, gain greater awareness of the rhythm of the seasons, value simplicity, learn to enjoy learning and living, and love and be loved.
