When Torb, a celebrated warrior naturalist of the Aspian Empire, is sent to fetch his sleazy con brother from the dregs of the galaxy, he had no idea what kind of a wild road trip would ensue when he ends up hitching a ride with a group of wandering, party-going aliens on the run. Meanwhile, a mysterious plague begins to ravage its way throughout civilized space, including Earth.
