Reseña del editor:
"Candy for life and a tour of Willie Wonka's top-secret chocolate factory was the prize for buying a candy bar containing a Golden Ticket. Here is the exciting, hilarious, and moral story of the five prizewinners. They were, alas, repulsive children, with the exception of Charlie Bucket, whose family was so poor he could only have one candy bar a year. Rich in humor, acutely observant, Dahl lets his imagination rip in fairyland."--The New York Times.
Biografía del autor:
Roald Dahl was, quite simply, one of the best-loved children's book authors of all time. Although he passed away in 1990, his popularity and that of his books—Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, James and the Giant Peach, and Danny the Champion of the World, to name just a few—continues to grow.
Quentin Blake has illustrated most of Roald Dahl’s children’s books. The Children’s Laureate of the United Kingdom, he teaches illustration at the Royal College of Art in London.
